About the Author

Peter Lombardi, a Jamestown native, graduated with a B.A. in environmental design from the University at Buffalo and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Rutgers. He is currently a Buffalo-based Senior Associate for czb, a national firm specializing in urban revitalization strategies and housing market analysis, and lives in the city's North Park neighborhood with his wife Kristen. 

Prior to joining czb in 2015, Peter worked at the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation where he implemented neighborhood and downtown revitalization strategies and led the nomination of downtown Jamestown and Lakeview Avenue to the National Register of Historic Places. He also served as founding chairman of the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation and as an adjunct assistant professor of planning at the University at Buffalo.
